In the course of lectures "Coding theory" the main theoretical aspects of transmitting the information into communication channels with noises are considered. The course of lectures "Coding theory" includes the main important mathematical results from all fields of classical and modern coding theory: the theory of linear codes, optimal codes, the theory of cyclic codes, encoding and decoding procedures, constructions of codes, the practical implementations of the coding theory of transmitting the information using communication channels with occurring errors. Implementations to cryptography are also considered in the course. This knowledge is necessary for every student who has to know the theoretical fundamentals how an information may be transmitted in communication channels with noises (radio, television, aerospace communication, satellites, telegraph, internet, enc.). The course would be valuable for master students, interested in coding theory, combinatorics, cryptology and graph theory.
